Sites and Soils
This vineyard is surrounded by a protective stone wall on the site of an ancient coral reef, dating back to the Tertiary period. The top soils are weathered rock with beds of limestone and marl.
Fermented for the most part in 500 litre wooden barrels ! An amazingly well-balanced array of aromas, delicate and elegant with a long aftertaste. The chalky soils give rise to an almost salty mineral flavour and an interleaved fullness with an almost feathery touch.
Ideal serving temperature: 10-14 °C Best decanted !
